what is a concept? how do u represent it on a sheet?
many student i have met have no clue how to derive a concept and proceed.
see the image provided above,
that is some classy presentation skills
we should be working our hands like that.
look at the way the person has explained a concept.
it can be anything that motivates or inspires you
example. you are sharpening your pencil and its waving falls in front of you, notice its shape and texture. try to bring in it some form and use it. cant that be done,
most architects and people in the field prefer to have buildings inspired by elements of nature because of its pure form and structure.
some of the elements that inspired me and which i have used in my design are
honeycomb
flowers
spiderweb
snowflake
buckminster fuller
carbon60 structure (used to derive a geodesic dome)
clove leaf
and so on....
these ideas are true and pure
they depict connectivity and show the strength of nature that helps to keep the elements in one piece. thus the architecrure of structure of elements in nature is the most superior form of design
example. a carbon chain or the structure of a leaf or a snowflake
sometimes reading these words blocks your thought
you should always let your mind flow and explore.
